About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced for access portal monitoring at an assigned manufacturing and industrial site in Dallas, Texas. The position pays $16.00 per hour and has designated weekly anchor shifts that require a six-month commitment. The listed schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM. In addition to the fixed shifts, officers may claim extra shifts through the company’s scheduling platform, with the opportunity to work up to 40 hours per week and adjust hours as needed.

The officer provides customer service, monitors and controls facility access, responds to incidents and alarms, conducts patrols, and maintains accurate site documentation. Applicants must meet age requirements for the role, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and submit to applicable background and drug screening. Licensing may be required under state or local rules.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor and control access to the manufacturing and industrial location by verifying credentials, documenting visitor activity, and directing authorized personnel and deliveries.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, follow site procedures, and notify appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter.
• Maintain accurate access-control logs, incident reports, and shift documentation in accordance with site requirements.
