About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring an experienced armed Security Officer for a financial institution in Cincinnati, Ohio. The part-time role pays $28 per hour and provides a designated site and weekly anchor shift, with a six-month commitment. The posted shift is Thursday from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Officers may claim additional shifts through the scheduling platform, with the opportunity to work up to 40 hours per week and adjust their hours as needed. The position includes security training and a path to full-time roles.

Requirements

• At least two years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience.
• At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation, subject to applicable law.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and customers while following security procedures and site-specific policies and responding to emergencies when appropriate.
• Respond calmly and professionally to alarms, incidents, and critical situations, following site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel or emergency services.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, parking areas, ATM locations, entrances, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization to enter restricted areas.
• Complete daily activity reports, incident documentation, and other records, and communicate relevant observations to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
