About The Position

As a part-time Unarmed Security Officer at a financial institution in Malvern, Pennsylvania, you will help safeguard the client and provide a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and customers. The role includes monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible security presence, following site-specific procedures, and providing customer service. You will respond professionally to incidents and access concerns, document activities, and support emergency response when appropriate.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any licensing requirements imposed by state or local laws and regulations, if applicable.

Nice To Haves

• Comfort using a computer or tablet, including operating systems, software applications, email, online research, and web-based tools.
• Customer service experience, including customer-facing communication, resolving inquiries or complaints, and maintaining positive customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out security procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations, following escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, offices, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized access attempts or suspicious conditions.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and daily logs according to site-specific requirements.
• Participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
