About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed Security Officer Patrol at a commercial real estate property in Greencastle, Indiana. The officer will help safeguard tenants, visitors, staff, and property by conducting patrols, monitoring access, responding to incidents, documenting observations, and providing customer service. The position is scheduled Fridays and Saturdays from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM and pays $18.50 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience.
CPR certification.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations, escalating matters according to site procedures.
Monitor access points and observe property activity to help deter unauthorized entry, theft, vandalism, and other policy violations.
Document incidents, patrol observations, and security-related concerns according to company and site reporting procedures.
