About The Position

DSI Security Services is hiring a Security Officer in Calumet City, Illinois, for the second shift at $20.00 per hour. The officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients, their employees, and the public through a professional, attentive presence and a strong commitment to safety and customer service. The role includes visible security coverage and routine patrols, observing and responding to hazards or suspicious activity, following DSI and client procedures, interacting professionally with the public, and completing reports and documentation. Officers also participate in training and follow DSI safety procedures and manuals.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Have reliable transportation and a means of communication.
Have basic to intermediate computer skills.
Have effective written and verbal communication skills.
Be able to conduct routine foot patrols, perform moderate lifting, and work in all weather conditions.
Meet all pre-employment requirements.

Valid driver’s license preferred.
