About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced for an assigned technology, media, and telecommunications site in Lancaster, Texas. The role provides consistent anchor shifts at the designated site, with a six-month commitment, and the option to claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform. Additional shifts may allow the employee to work up to 40 hours per week, with the option to scale back. The stated pay rate is $20.00 per hour.

The scheduled shifts are Saturday and Sunday, 12:30 PM–8:30 PM. The officer provides customer service, follows site procedures and policies, and supports emergency response. Dispatch duties include coordinating calls, alarms, access-control notifications, and other security communications from a central dispatch post. The role also includes documenting incidents and shift activity, monitoring cameras and security systems, reporting unusual activity, and supporting patrols.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation, as permitted and required by applicable law.
• Submit to a drug screen, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any state or local licensing requirements that apply; licensing may be required before employment.
• Have a valid driver’s license only if applying for a driving position.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service at a technology, media, and telecommunications location while following site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor and coordinate incoming calls, alarms, access-control notifications, and other security-related communications from a central dispatch post.
• Dispatch appropriate personnel and resources in response to incidents, service requests, and critical situations, maintaining calm, accurate, and timely communication.
• Document incidents, dispatch activities, visitor or contractor information, and shift communications according to site procedures.
• Monitor cameras and other security-related systems, report unusual activity, and support regular and random patrol activity around the business and perimeter.
