Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
CPR and First Aid experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide courteous customer service to residents, guests, and visitors while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property, documenting incidents, unusual conditions, and policy violations in accordance with site requirements.
Communicate professionally with residents, property staff, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership while maintaining a professional presence at the location.
