About The Position

As a Security Officer Access Management in Carson City, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients at a technology, media, and telecommunications location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help deter incidents, manage access control, and support badge processes. The role includes providing customer service and clear communication while helping maintain a welcoming environment. The scheduled shifts are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 4:00 PM to 1:00 AM, and Thursday from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM. The position is full-time and pays $22.98 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.

A guard card or license is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and in a problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
Monitor access points, visitor activity, and deliveries according to site-specific procedures.
Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
