About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Emergency Readiness in Buford, Georgia. The position provides a reliable weekly anchor shift at an assigned site, with a six-month commitment, and the option to claim additional shifts through the company’s scheduling platform. The role offers a path to build toward a schedule of up to 40 hours per week, with the option to scale back. The listed pay rate is $19.00 per hour. The scheduled shift is Thursday from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

The officer will provide customer service and security support in a medical office building, conduct unarmed patrols, monitor access and visitor activity, respond to emergencies and incidents, and document observations and activities in accordance with site procedures.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, consistent with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, tenants, and staff while carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the medical office building, parking areas, entrances, common areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Accurately and promptly document incidents, patrol activities, and notable observations in accordance with site procedures.
