About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Emergency Patrol in Lancaster, Texas. The position provides consistent assigned-site hours through a fixed weekly anchor schedule, with a six-month commitment to the assignment. Officers may claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform, offering the flexibility to increase or reduce hours; additional work may bring the schedule up to 40 hours per week. The role involves unarmed security patrol and customer service at a retail location.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any licensing requirements applicable under state or local laws and regulations, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a retail location by following site-specific procedures and policies and carrying out emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of sales areas, receiving locations, employee entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe for suspicious activity, reporting security concerns, hazards, and policy violations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations, following post orders and escalation procedures.
• Accurately document patrols, incidents, and observations, and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel.
