About The Position

As a part-time Security Officer in Lebanon, Tennessee, you will help safeguard clients at a logistics and distribution location. In an access-control role, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and assist with visitor and vehicle traffic. Your visible presence will help deter security-related incidents while you provide professional communication and customer service. The role offers access to a shift-claiming platform and opportunities to explore additional shifts and other roles.

The position is scheduled Saturdays and Sundays from 4:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The pay rate is $16.33 per hour.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any licensing requirements that apply under state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, drivers, visitors, and contractors while carrying out site-specific security procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and direct authorized personnel and vehicles according to site procedures.
• Screen inbound and outbound traffic as assigned, report irregularities involving access, shipments, trailers, or restricted areas, and escalate concerns to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, following established site procedures and Allied Universal protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
