About The Position

As a Security Officer Front Desk Clearance Required in Colorado Springs, Colorado, you will serve as a welcoming, professional presence at an aerospace and defense location. You will help manage visitor access, communications, and site-entry procedures, supporting a secure environment through attentive observation, clear communication, and customer service. The role is full time and pays $22.00 per hour. The posted schedule is Monday through Friday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Requirements

An active DoD Secret clearance.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
A high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
State or local licensing may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at the front desk by following site-specific procedures and access protocols.
Monitor entry activity, verify visitor credentials, issue visitor passes, and maintain accurate visitor and access records.
Answer telephone calls, provide directions and information, and route inquiries to appropriate personnel while maintaining a professional presence.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate contacts and support emergency response activities as directed.
Observe front desk activity, report unusual conditions, and document security-related incidents to help deter unauthorized access.
