About The Position

As a part-time Front Desk Security Officer in a technology, media, and telecommunications environment, you will help safeguard clients while creating a welcoming, professional experience for visitors, employees, and vendors. You will greet visitors, manage facility access, monitor entry activity, answer calls, and provide customer service and communication while supporting site-specific security procedures. The position is in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and requires an active DoD Secret clearance.

Requirements

Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and vendors at a professional front-desk location.
Monitor facility access by verifying visitor credentials, issuing visitor passes, maintaining visitor logs, and following site-specific security procedures.
Answer incoming calls, direct guests to appropriate contacts, and provide general information courteously and professionally.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel or emergency responders as required.
Support security-related documentation, report unusual activity or policy concerns, and complete required reports in accordance with company and site-specific procedures.
