About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Armed Patrol Officer to support a government healthcare location in Deerfield Beach, Florida. The officer will conduct armed patrols, maintain a visible security presence, respond professionally to incidents and emergencies, and provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors. The role includes a scheduled shift on Monday from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM and Wednesday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Pay is $21.82 per hour.

Requirements

At least 5 years of security-related experience.
At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

An armed guard card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while following security procedures and site-specific policies.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations, coordinating with appropriate personnel and first responders as needed.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of healthcare facilities, grounds, parking areas, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious activity, hazards, or policy violations according to site procedures.
Prepare accurate reports and maintain documentation for incidents, patrols, and security-related observations.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
