About The Position

As an Armed Security Officer - Patrol Response in Phoenix, Arizona, you will safeguard a government services location by conducting armed patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, and responding to security-related concerns. You will provide professional customer service and clear communication while helping maintain a welcoming environment. The position is full-time and pays $23.00 per hour. The listed schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Requirements

At least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
An Armed Guard Card or license.
At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
A high school diploma or equivalent.
Subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply before employment, depending on state and local laws and regulations.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while following site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a government services location.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel or emergency responders as needed.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with post orders; report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations.
Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications according to company and site procedures.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
