About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Armed Security Officer Emergency Response Patrol in Merrimack, New Hampshire, serving clients in industries including aerospace and defense. The officer conducts armed patrols, maintains a visible presence to help deter incidents, and supports a welcoming, security-focused environment. The role also involves providing customer service and clear communication while responding to site needs. The schedule is Sunday and Monday through Wednesday, 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. The pay rate is $28.70 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, grounds, perimeter, access points, and other assigned areas.
Monitor access control points and verify credentials for authorized personnel, visitors, and deliveries according to site requirements.
Maintain required reports and documentation, and communicate observations, incidents, and unusual activity to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
