About The Position

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Response in Saint Louis, Missouri, you will safeguard clients at a chemical and petrochemical location. This driving role involves conducting routine and random armed patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, responding to security-related concerns, and providing customer service while supporting Allied Universal’s team.

Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience.
A valid armed guard card or license.
A valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; required for driving positions.
At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
A high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures and policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following established emergency and incident-reporting procedures.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, production areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access control points, verify credentials, control the entry and exit of personnel and vehicles, and report security concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
Maintain proficiency with assigned equipment, including authorized firearms, and follow applicable laws, client requirements, and Allied Universal policies.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
