About The Position

A & Associates, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to help maintain a safe and secure environment for clients, employees, and visitors. The role involves observing and securing the premises, enforcing protocols, responding to alarms and emergencies, and supporting loss prevention. The officer should be able to manage conflicts effectively and maintain a professional demeanor. Work is in person, with set workdays to be determined; candidates must have open availability and be able to work on short notice.

Requirements

PERC (Permanent Employee Registration Card).
Valid state-required security license.
Basic computer skills.
Open availability; workdays will be set and determined later.
Availability to work on short notice.
Strong conflict management skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong observational skills and attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

Guard shack experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

Monitor and authorize the entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain premises security.
Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations, providing first aid or CPR as necessary.
Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor in conflict situations.
Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities during shifts.
Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to ensure safety protocols are followed.
Assist with loss prevention strategies by identifying potential security risks.
