About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed patrol security officer for a technology, media, and telecommunications location in Florence, New Jersey. The officer will safeguard employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel through customer service, regular patrols, access monitoring, incident response, and accurate reporting. The position pays $18.74 per hour and is scheduled Fridays and Saturdays from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Additional shifts may be available through the company’s Claim a Shift platform.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for an unarmed role.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

Loss Prevention experience is preferred.
CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
Customer Service experience is preferred.
Alarm Panel experience is preferred.
A Guard Card/License is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while following security procedures, site-specific policies, and applicable emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter locations.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, report unusual conditions, and help maintain compliance with site access requirements.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, notifying appropriate site contacts and public emergency services when needed.
Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs in accordance with company and site requirements.
