About The Position
As a full-time Armed Patrol Driver in Memphis, Tennessee, you will serve and safeguard clients in a healthcare setting. You will conduct routine armed patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This driving post requires an armed guard card or license and a valid driver’s license.
Requirements
- Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
- Have a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
Nice To Haves
- Handcuff, pepper spray, and baton experience is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors while following site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
- Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations, coordinating with hospital personnel and public responders as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity; assist with access control procedures; and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations according to site procedures.
- Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation for incidents, patrols, and other security-related activities.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
