About The Position

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver in Greensboro, North Carolina, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries including financial institutions. In this driving position, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support a professional, welcoming environment through clear communication and customer service. The role is full-time, pays $22.74 per hour, and is scheduled Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Requirements

Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or a college degree.
Possess an armed guard card or license.
Have a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or customers at a financial institution by carrying out site-specific security procedures, policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, suspicious activity, and critical situations, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and report irregularities to appropriate personnel.
Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and required logs in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
