About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Enhanced Security Officer for a retail store assignment in Fresno, California. The role combines customer service with security duties, including patrols, access monitoring, incident response, and reporting. The position has fixed weekly anchor shifts at an assigned site, requiring a six-month commitment, and offers the option to claim additional shifts through a scheduling platform. Additional shifts may allow hours to vary up to 40 per week, with the option to scale back. Pay is $19.00 per hour.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; a valid license is required for driving positions.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or 21 or older for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience.
• A guard card or license.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store associates while following security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response protocols.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of retail sales areas, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor and delivery activity, and help maintain orderly movement throughout the location.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and security-related activities in accordance with site procedures.
