About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring Security Officers to serve and safeguard clients across industries including commercial real estate, healthcare, education, and government. Officers provide customer service while carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. They respond calmly and constructively to incidents and critical situations, and conduct regular and random patrols around client businesses and their perimeters. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site. The posted pay rate is $24.13 per hour.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• Have a valid driver’s license if applying for a driving position.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out safety and security procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
