About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring Security Officers to safeguard clients across industries including commercial real estate, healthcare, education, and government. Officers provide customer service while carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. They respond calmly to incidents and critical situations and conduct regular and random patrols around business locations and their perimeters. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site. The advertised pay rate is $20.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or 21 years old for armed roles.
• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or have five years of verifiable experience.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out safety and security procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
