About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring multiple Security Guard positions for an unarmed patrol role at a manufacturing and industrial location. The driving post involves monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, helping deter security-related incidents, and supporting a welcoming environment through customer service and communication. The job includes unarmed foot and/or vehicle patrols in interior and exterior areas, including production spaces, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeters as assigned. Requirements

Candidates must be at least 19 years old for unarmed roles; armed roles require candidates to be at least 21 years old.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions. The posting specifies that candidates must have held a valid license for one full year without interruption and may not have more than one driving violation within a two-year period.
Candidates must consent to and pass an extensive criminal background check and a drug screen, as permitted by law.
Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client; a high school diploma or equivalent is also listed as a qualification.

Nice To Haves

At least one year of security experience, or military, correctional officer, or law enforcement experience, is highly preferred.
The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; document observations and report concerns through proper channels.
Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing and industrial areas, including production spaces, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter locations as assigned.
Monitor access points, verify credentials when required by site policies, and help deter unauthorized entry or suspicious activity.
Observe workplace conditions, report hazards, and assist with orderly responses to disruptions, deliveries, or visitor-related matters.
