About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time temporary Security Flex Officer in the Mount Laurel, New Jersey area. In this Security Patrol Driver role, you will serve and safeguard clients across industries including commercial real estate, healthcare, education, and government. The schedule will be announced during the interview process, and the pay rate is $21.53 per hour. Applicants must be able to walk long distances, be proficient with computers, and maintain a professional demeanor. A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or have five years of verifiable experience.
• Be able to walk long distances.
• Be proficient with computers.
• Maintain a professional demeanor.
• Hold a valid driver’s license for driving positions.
• Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet licensing requirements that may apply under state or local laws and regulations, potentially before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out safety and security procedures and site-specific policies, and performing emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
• Meet the needs of varied client-site working environments and conditions.
