Security Officer Patrol Emergency Response
About The Position
As a part-time, unarmed patrol and emergency response Security Officer at a financial institution in Getzville, New York, you will help safeguard employees, visitors, clients, and the facility. You will maintain a visible presence, provide customer service, monitor and patrol assigned areas, and respond professionally to security concerns and emergencies while following site-specific procedures and policies. The listed schedule is Thursday from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM, Saturday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and Sunday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The pay rate is $19.00 per hour. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements; licensing may be required before employment.
Nice To Haves
- A guard card is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors while following site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, access points, and perimeter areas; identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.
- Monitor access to designated areas, verify visitor credentials as required, and remain aware of activity around the facility.
- Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, follow established site procedures, and notify appropriate personnel.
- Prepare accurate reports and maintain required activity logs for patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related events.
