Job Description As a Security Officer Research Facility in Brooklyn Park, MN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access support activities, and appropriate emergency response actions at a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with supervisors and/or designated site contacts.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, unsecured areas, and other security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help support authorized access, visitor processing, and compliance with site protocols while maintaining a professional presence.
  • Support daily operations by reporting hazards, maintenance issues, and policy concerns, and by assisting with directions, escorts, and other customer service requests as appropriate.
