About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer in New Holland, Pennsylvania, serving a food and beverage production location. The officer will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access systems and alarm panels, provide customer service, maintain a visible presence, and help deter security-related incidents. The position pays $19.57 per hour and is scheduled Monday through Friday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements that apply under state or local laws and regulations.

Nice To Haves

Comfort using a computer or tablet.
Experience with access control and badge systems.
Experience with alarm panels.
Customer service experience.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Monitor and control access at assigned entry points by verifying credentials, screening authorized personnel and visitors, and maintaining accurate access-related records.
Respond calmly to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, parking areas, production-adjacent areas, and the facility perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
Observe and report unusual conditions, damaged access points, and policy violations to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
