Security Officer Full Time Alarm Panel Monitor

About The Position

As a full-time Security Officer in San Francisco, California, you will safeguard a technology, media, and telecommunications workplace. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide clear communication and customer service to help support a welcoming environment. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM. The pay rate is $27.40 per hour.

Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age or older for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfort using a computer or tablet.
Alarm panel experience.

Ability to lift more than 20 pounds.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally, using problem-solving skills.
Conduct regular and random patrols of office spaces, common areas, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site policies, and report unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.
Document incidents, observations, and completed patrols accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
