Security Officer Full Time Morning Shift

About The Position

As a full-time Patrol Unarmed Security Officer at a technology, media, and telecommunications location in Olive Branch, Mississippi, you will help safeguard the client’s facilities and provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible security presence, support access control, and communicate and respond to security concerns in accordance with site procedures. The role is scheduled Wednesday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM and Saturday and Sunday from 6:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The pay rate is $16.50 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors while following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, common spaces, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate visitor and incident documentation.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
Maintain a visible presence to help deter unauthorized activity and promptly report security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
