As a Security Officer Full Time Credential Checking in Shreveport, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Security Professional at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help manage entry points, verify access credentials, monitor visitor activity, and maintain clear records using computer or tablet systems. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor and contractor entry records, and direct individuals in accordance with facility requirements.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned industrial areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Observe and report unusual conditions, damaged access-control equipment, and policy violations in accordance with site procedures.
