About The Position

As a Security Officer Full Time Credential Enrollment in Sanford, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a residential community, you will help create a welcoming, secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying visitor access, and maintaining accurate records using computer or tablet systems. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, visitors, and/or vendors while carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor access points, verify visitor and vendor authorization, maintain entry records, and communicate relevant access information to appropriate property representatives.
  • Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established procedures and escalation protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Document observations, incidents, access-control activities, and policy violations in clear, accurate reports.
