As a Security Officer Full Time Credential Services in San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a dynamic automotive location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and assist employees and visitors with professionalism. You will maintain a visible presence, conduct routine patrols, help deter security-related incidents, and communicate clearly with site personnel. Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive manufacturing location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, manage visitor access, and maintain accurate access-related logs and records.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned entry points, parking areas, production-related facilities, and perimeter areas; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Help to deter unauthorized access by observing site activity, reporting unusual conditions, and communicating professionally with Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
