About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer for visitor management at a financial institution in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The position provides consistent hours at an assigned site, with the option to claim additional shifts through the company’s scheduling platform. The assigned weekly shift is a fixed “anchor shift” requiring a six-month commitment. Employees may pick up extra shifts and can work up to 40 hours in a week, with the option to scale back. The role pays $20.86 per hour, with weekly pay. The listed schedule is Monday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The position involves reception-area customer service, visitor access management, monitoring front-desk activity, and responding to incidents according to site procedures.

Requirements

• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation, as a condition of employment and in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution reception area while following site-specific procedures and security policies.
• Monitor access, verify visitor credentials, issue authorized visitor passes, and maintain accurate visitor records.
• Answer and direct phone calls, greet guests professionally, and coordinate visitor notifications with appropriate personnel.
• Monitor front-desk activity, report suspicious activity or access concerns, and help deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, follow emergency response procedures, and notify appropriate personnel.
