About The Position

The Signia by Hilton San Jose is seeking a Security Officer to help maintain facility safety and deliver memorable experiences for guests at a premium full-service hotel with more than 541 guest rooms and over 55,000 square feet of meeting and function space. The role includes monitoring hotel premises, assisting with incident investigations and emergency response, maintaining accurate reports, and helping guests professionally. The schedule may include AM, PM, or overnight shifts, and weekends are required.

Requirements

• Have, or be able to obtain upon hire, a PSO (Proprietary Private Security Officer) license or Guard Card.
• Have one year of security officer experience, or a military or police officer background.
• Have open and flexible availability to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Conduct interior and exterior security patrols to identify and address safety and security risks, threats, and undesirable conditions.
• Conduct preliminary incident investigations, gather relevant information, document findings, and ensure accurate incident reporting.
• Prepare and maintain accurate security reports and records.
• Assist in responding to safety hazards, fires, medical incidents, and security threats.
• Respond to guest inquiries and concerns professionally and efficiently.
