About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer for a cruise ship terminal in downtown. The role involves safeguarding clients and providing customer service while following safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response protocols. Schedule requires open availability. Pay is $21.05 per hour. Applicants must have an active California guard card.

Requirements

• Must have an active California guard card.
• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age or older for armed roles.
• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or have five years of verifiable experience.
• Must pass a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Must submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out safety and security procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
