About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer for a commercial real estate location in San Antonio, Texas. The officer will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor access, and respond to access-related concerns. The role includes maintaining a visible presence, helping deter incidents, and providing customer service and clear communication. The schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The pay rate is $16.00 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing may be required before employment, subject to state and local laws and regulations.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, visitors, vendors, and guests by following site-specific access-control procedures, property policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, issue visitor credentials as directed, and maintain accurate entry and exit records.
Respond to access-related incidents, resident concerns, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, using problem-solving skills.
Communicate relevant incidents, unusual activity, and property concerns to appropriate personnel and complete required reports.
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
