About The Position

As a full-time Unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage manufacturing location in Hershey, Pennsylvania, you will help safeguard the client, employees, and visitors. The role involves driving as part of patrol duties and requires a valid driver’s license. You will conduct routine and random patrols, maintain a visible presence, support access control and badge-related activities, and provide professional customer service. You will also respond to incidents and alarms, document observations and activities, and communicate with Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.

Requirements

Possess a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

Comfort using a computer or tablet.
Customer service experience.
Access control and badge experience.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and take part in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, following site procedures and escalation protocols.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, entrances, and loading or shipping areas.
Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, contractors, vendors, and visitors.
Accurately document patrols, incidents, observations, and access-related activities.
Communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervisors and site contacts.
