About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Unarmed Patrol Officer for entrance operations at a manufacturing and industrial location in Blythewood, South Carolina. The officer will help safeguard the site by patrolling assigned areas, monitoring access, supporting site security procedures, and maintaining a visible presence. The role also involves customer service, clear communication, incident response, and documenting observations. The stated pay rate is $19.10 per hour. The schedule is Tuesday through Friday, 2:30 PM to 10:30 PM.

Requirements

At least two years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
At least two years of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable law.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing may be required prior to employment depending on state or local requirements.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors while carrying out site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter.
Monitor access, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized entry attempts or suspicious activity.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations by following site procedures and contacting emergency services when directed.
Document patrols, incidents, and observations in required reports and communicate relevant information during shift handoffs.
