About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed Security Officer for entrance operations at a manufacturing and industrial location in Duncan, South Carolina. The officer will help safeguard the site by conducting patrols, monitoring access points and alarm systems, deterring security-related incidents, and providing professional customer service and communication. The role uses a computer or tablet, badge access, and an alarm panel while working with a team focused on integrity and service. The schedule is Tuesday through Saturday, 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM. The pay rate is $14.91 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific security procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and the facility perimeter.
Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, verify visitor and contractor access according to site policies, and maintain accurate activity records.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and emergency services as needed.
Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities using required reporting tools, and communicate relevant information during shift handoffs.
