About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer for a vehicle-patrol position at a residential community in Calabasas, California. The officer will help maintain a welcoming and secure environment by monitoring access points, verifying visitors, documenting activity, and providing customer service to residents and guests. The driving post provides a visible security presence to help deter incidents and support the community. The schedule is Thursday through Sunday, 9:30 PM to 6:00 AM. The pay rate is $26.00 per hour.

Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience.
A valid driver’s license, required for driving positions and subject to Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age or older for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

A guard card or license.
Comfort using a computer or tablet.
CPR and First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and visitors while following site-specific access-control procedures and policies and, when appropriate, carrying out emergency response activities.
Monitor and control entry and exit at residential community access points, verify visitor authorization, and document vehicle, guest, and vendor information according to site procedures.
Communicate professionally about access requirements, directions, parking guidelines, and community policies.
Respond calmly to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel and emergency services as directed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, entry points, and perimeter locations to identify and report unusual activity, property concerns, and policy violations.
