About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time, unarmed Security Officer for vehicle patrol at a residential community in Westlake Village, California. The officer will help safeguard residents and visitors by conducting patrols, monitoring access points, maintaining a visible presence, and reporting security concerns. This is a driving position requiring a valid driver’s license. The role emphasizes customer service, professional communication, and adherence to community procedures and Allied Universal policies.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; required for this driving position.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with access control and badge systems.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and vendors while following security procedures and site-specific policies and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random vehicle and/or foot patrols of residential common areas, parking areas, building exteriors, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with community policies, and document relevant observations and incidents.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations, and notify appropriate contacts as directed by site procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and communicate security-related activities to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
