About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed Security Officer at a financial institution in New York, NY. The officer will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and assist employees, visitors, and customers professionally. The role emphasizes exceptional customer service, clear communication, and teamwork. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Pay is $19.00–$20.00 per hour. Applicants must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles and possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Employment is contingent on a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. Licensing may be required under applicable state or local rules. Allied Universal is licensed by the New York State Department of State.

Requirements

Responsibilities

Provide customer service at a financial institution by following security procedures and site-specific policies and carrying out emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, access-related concerns, alarms, and critical situations.
Conduct regular and random patrols of banking offices, common areas, entry points, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter; identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
Monitor access points and visitor activity according to site-specific procedures to help protect personnel, visitors, and property.
Accurately and promptly document observations, incidents, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
