Security Officer - Incident Response
About The Position
As a part-time unarmed patrol driver at a utilities-related location in Greenwood, Indiana, you will help safeguard clients, employees, and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. The role calls for exceptional customer service and clear communication, along with integrity, teamwork, reliability, and innovation. The scheduled shifts are Saturday and Sunday from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM. The pay rate is $16.00 per hour. Employees may use the Claim a Shift platform to view and claim additional shifts.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements; licensing may be required before employment.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors by following site-specific procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities.
- Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, and notify appropriate site contacts or emergency responders as directed.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to identify unusual activity, unauthorized access, and potential hazards.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and access points; verify credentials and maintain visitor, contractor, and vehicle entry records according to site procedures.
- Complete accurate activity reports and incident documentation, and communicate shift handoffs in alignment with company and site requirements.
