About The Position

As a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in Memphis, Tennessee, you will serve and safeguard clients by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and supporting access control activities. You will engage with visitors and personnel, use computer or tablet systems as needed, and provide customer service while communicating clearly and acting with integrity. The role involves a scheduled patrol shift Friday and Saturday nights, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Pay is $16.00 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
Maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents.
Support access control activities and engage with visitors and personnel.
Use computer or tablet systems as needed and communicate clearly while acting with integrity.
