As a Security Officer Day Shift Patrol in Wilson, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will support daily operations through strong communication, responsive customer service, and teamwork, while bringing reliability, integrity, and innovation to every shift.

Requirements

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Possess customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe coming and going activity, and report unauthorized persons, damaged equipment, and/or property-related issues in accordance with post instructions.
• Support daily operations by completing routine reports, following assigned post orders, and helping to deter disruptions, trespassing, and/or policy violations on site.
