As a Security Officer Day Shift Financial Patrol in Raleigh, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Requirements

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and appropriate emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns according to site guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, lobby areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor information as directed, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance issues, and other security-related matters to the appropriate contacts.
• Support closing and opening procedures, observe cash handling and/or ATM service activity from a visible presence standpoint when assigned, and assist with crowd management during busy customer service periods.
