As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Park Rapids, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. This is a part-time position where you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using the Claim a Shift platform. You will join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic food and beverage location, conducting routine patrols, remaining visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and delivering outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. The role requires an agile, reliable, and innovative approach while supporting a caring culture built on teamwork and integrity.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to all persons at the location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter points, while reporting conditions that could require attention.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor, vendor, and/or contractor activity as directed, and help to deter unauthorized entry into restricted areas.
• Support security-related operations for a food and beverage location by observing loading and shipping areas, noting policy concerns, and communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
