About The Position

As an unarmed Security Officer at an industrial and manufacturing location in Gresham, Oregon, you will help safeguard the client’s site by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible security presence, and supporting access control. You will provide customer service and clear communication to employees, visitors, drivers, and contractors while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities. The position is full-time and pays $23.00 per hour. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 1:30 PM to 9:30 PM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements that apply under state or local laws and regulations.

Nice To Haves

Comfort using a computer or tablet.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
Customer service experience.
Access control or badge experience.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and contractors while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, maintain entry records, and direct deliveries to designated receiving areas.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, follow site procedures, and contact appropriate personnel or emergency services when needed.
Prepare clear reports and communicate observations, incidents, and security-related concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
